Rohr Aurora Begins

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it” – Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick)

As I sit here looking at the calendar, which tells me that I am four days into November, I am mildly surprised.  Wasn’t I just in May? Did I just close my eyes for a moment and somehow here I am, almost in November?  Where did the time go?  Well, where ever it went, it went there quickly!

I don't mind waking up to a view like this!

The season that was the summer of 2015.  The more I tried, in vain, to slow the summer down, the faster it seems to have disappeared.  Looking back it was one hell of a summer.

It had been awhile since I had had a chance to practice some aurora photography. Little did I know what this summer was going to bring!

The two standout hikes this summer were most definitely Semaphore Lakes (Click here & here for the two posts) and Rohr Lake (here & here).  With the aurora performing for us the way it did, those two trips with go down as all time unforgettable moments for me.
